Diana began working with the French harpist Xavier de Maistre in 2006, forging a unique partnership in their exploration of the world of art-song.
An early collaboration quickly grew into something far greater, united in their shared passion for the French song literature. Their performance repertoire has since expanded massively having performed a variety of concert programmes in England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain and Canada.
Damrau appears on Xavier de Maistre’s debut SONY release “Nuit d’étoiles” singing a selection of Débussy mélodies. Their recital at the 2009 Baden Baden Festival was recorded for television (dir. Brian Large).
