Les Pêcheurs de Perles at Theater an der Wien

Following a “flawless” performance in the world premiere of A Harlot’s Progress, Diana Damrau returns to the Theater an der Wien to sing the role of Leila in Bizet’s exotic Les Pêcheurs de Perles this month. She is joined by an extraordinary cast, including Nathan Gunn as Zurga, Dmitry Korchak as Nadir, and Ms. Damrau’s husband Nicolas Testé as Nourabad, all featured in a brand new production directed by Lotte de Beer. Jean-Christophe Spinosi conducts the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien and the Arnold Schoenberg Chor.

Opening night for this production is already sold out – performances take place November 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 & 30.
