News - The latest about Diana’s engagements and recordings

 

On March 1, Diana Damrau will be the featured soprano soloist with the renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, in Brahms’ sacred and moving work, Ein deutsches Requiem. Acclaimed conductor Daniele Gatti, the newly announced Music Director of the Royal Concertgebouw, leads the performance, which also includes baritone Christian Gerhaher and the Westminster Symphonic Choir. Ms. Damrau and Mr. Gatti previously worked together to great artistic acclaim in Verdi’s La traviata at the Teatro alla Scala in 2013.
