In her debut appearance at LA Opera, Diana Damrau will sing Antonia and Stella in Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann. Ms. Damrau reunites with tenor Vittorio Grigolo (Hoffmann) in this production, following their critically acclaimed performances in the title roles of Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at The Metropolitan Opera. The cast also features Nicolas Testé as The Four Villains, Kate Lindsey as Nicklausse/Muse, Kate Aldrich as Giulietta, and So Young Park/Liv Redpath as Olympia.

The staging, directed by Marta Domingo, can be seen on stage at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on March 25 & 30 and April 2, 6, 9 & 15. Plácido Domingo takes the podium for this production (Grant Gershon conducts on April 6); please note several performances have extremely limited ticket availability.
