‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ & Recital in Munich

Diana Damrau returns to Munich’s Bayerische Staatsoper this summer for a series of highly anticipated performances. She stars as Lucia di Lammermoor on July 13 & 16 with Charles Castronovo as Edgardo, Simone Piazzola as Enrico, and Nicolas Testé sings Raimondo, with Oksana Lyniv leading from the pit and stage direction by Barbara Wysocka. Ms. Damrau received critical acclaim for her “splendidly sung” (Opera News) portrayal in the production’s debut.

On July 20 she reunites with pianist Helmut Deutsch for a recital featuring works by Schubert, Strauss, and Rachmaninoff. Tickets and additional information can be found at Staatsoper.de.
