Dresden Opera Ball

On January 26, Diana Damrau stars in the 13th Annual SemperOpernball at the Dresden Opera. 2,500 guests attend the concert inside the Opera House and about 15,000 watch from the Theater Square to celebrate a magnificent ball with high-profile personalities from the worlds of politics, science, culture and society. The evening features an exciting program and the spectacular waltz of the debutants. The 13th SemperOpernball is themed “Magical Dresden – having a ball”. Sylvie van der Vaart moderates the evening alongside fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer.
