News - The latest about Diana’s engagements and recordings

 

Diana Damrau rejoins harpist Xavier de Maistre for the second leg of their Lieder tour. This time, they perform at the Salzburger Festspiele on August 22, the Schubertiade Schwanzenberg on August 30, Bucharest on September 1 and Bremen on September 7. The program includes music by Mendelssohn, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Vlasov, Hahn, Renié and Poulenc.

In addition, she sings a concert with maestro Gianandrea Noseda and tenor Cosmin Ifrim on September 3 at the Enescu Festival, where she premieres Iain Bell’s The Hidden Place, a song cycle written for her by the British composer. She will also sing the final scene of  Richard Strauss’ Capriccio. Completing the program are Enescu’s Vox Maris and Britten’s Four Sea Interludes and Passacaglia from Peter Grimes.

Lastly, on September 29, she performs at Bad Wörishofen Concert with conductor Ivan Repušić on the podium.
