Recital tour with Helmut Deutsch

EDIT: This recital tour has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Ms Damrau and Mr. Deutsch will perform this program on April 3 in Baden-Baden which will be available as a free livestream.

Diana Damrau takes on a short recital tour around Europe at the end of March. Initially, this tour also included performances in Bordeaux and New York, but unfortunately these have been cancelled due to COVID-19.

The first recital takes place at the Theater Essen on March 26, followed by her appearance at the Wiener Staatsoper on March 29, and lastly, at Wigmore Hall on April 7.

Pianist Helmut Deutsch, who has accompanied Diana Damrau for 15 years, will be by her side once more. The program features Lieder by Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss and others, as well as Spanish songs.
