New Year’s Concerts in Berlin

To bring the year to a delightfully festive end, Diana Damrau returns to the Staatsoper Berlin to sing music from films and plays from the Weimar period by composers like Paul Lincke, Werner Richard Heymann and Friedrich Holländer. Alongside her will be tenors Pavol Breslik and Mauro Peter, and Christian Thielemann will lead the orchestra. The concerts take place on December 31 and January 1.The concert will be livestreamed on New Year’s Eve from 5.00 pm on staatsoper-berlin.de and on the website of radio3 on rbb. The rbb will show the concert on January 2, 2025 at 10.00 pm.
