Role debut as the Marschallin

This month, Diana Damrau makes her much-awaited role debut as the Marschallin in Richard Strauss’ masterpiece, Der Rosenkavalier, in André Heller’s maximalist and colourful production. She will be joined by Emily D’Angelo as Octavian and Regula Mühlemann as Sophie, also making their role debuts, and David Steffens as Baron Ochs. The performances take place on January 19, 22, 25, 30 and February 1 and will be lead by Axel Kober.
