Salome Jicia portrays her rival Elisabetta, Paolo Fanale sings Roberto, Earl of Leicester, and Nicolas Test\u00e9 is Giorgio Talbot. Enrique Mazzola leads the orchestra again.<\/p>\n<p><em>Maria Stuarda<\/em>\u00a0opens\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opernhaus.ch\/en\/spielplan\/calendar\/maria-stuarda\/2020-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">September 27<\/a>, with three additional performances on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opernhaus.ch\/en\/spielplan\/calendar\/maria-stuarda\/2020-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">October 7, 11 and 15<\/a>. The September 27 performance will be broadcast live and will be available for 48 hours on the Opernhaus Z\u00fcrich&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opernhaus.ch\/en\/spielplan\/oper-fuer-alle-digital\/maria-stuarda-ofa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oper f\u00fcr alle digital<\/a> page.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>These performances will take place with full orchestra and chorus, which will broadcast live to the Opernhaus from an external rehearsal hall, in compliance with distancing regulations, while the singers perform live on stage.<\/p>\n<p>Of her role debut, Opera News raved: &#8220;Throughout the opera, Damrau was musically and dramatically magnificent.
