Feb 13, 2015
This spring Diana Damrau makes her highly anticipated appearance in the title role of Massenet’s Manon at The Metropolitan Opera. Diana has received enthusiastic notices for her previous outings of the role, citing her “dramatic mastery” and “nuanced” interpretations. This spectacular Laurent Pelly production will be a highlight of The Met’s season, and also features Vittorio Grigolo as Chevalier des Grieux, Russell Braun as Lescaut, and Nicolas Testé as the Comte des Grieux, with Emmanuel Villaume leading the acclaimed Met Opera Orchestra and Chorus. The Met performances take place March 9, 12, 17, 21, 25 & 28.
