Diana Damrau has withdrawn from the concerts and Deutsche Grammophon recording of Le Nozze di Figaro in Baden-Baden on July 16 & 19. Diana has unfortunately been in ill health the past several months due to a persistent case of sinusitis, which did not allow her to prepare the role debut of Contessa di Almaviva to the artistic level she desires, also in careful consideration of the planned studio recording. She conveys her most sincere regrets to her fans, and would like to thank everyone for their understanding.
