Diana Damrau joins the Bayerisches Staatsorchester and conductor Kirill Petrenko on an extensive concert tour throughout Europe this fall. They travel to Milan, Lucerne, Paris, Vienna, and several other cities, with a programme featuring Ms. Damrau as soloist on Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder (Four Last Songs), in addition to works by Tchaikovsky, Ligeti, and more. They perform on September 5 at the Teatro alla Scala; September 7 at the Lucerne Festival; September 12 at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées; September 13 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg; September 18 at the Musikverein Wien; September 19 & 20 at Munich’s National Theater (sold out); and September 21 at Alte Oper Frankfurt.
