Radio Romania is scheduled to broadcast Diana’s Lieder recital with harpist Xavier de Maistre on September 1 and her concert with Gianandrea Noseda on September 3 LIVE from the Enescu Festival.
During the broadcast of the recital from the Romanian Athenaeum the listeners will be treated to the program she has been touring around Europe, which includes Lieder by Felix Mendelssohn, Rachmaninov, Vlasov, Hahn and Poulenc, as well as two pieces by Liszt and Debussy, arranged for solo harp by de Maistre himself. For the concert with maestro Gianandrea Noseda and the London Symphony Orchestra at the Sala Palatului, she premieres Iain Bell’s The Hidden Place, a song cycle written for her by the British composer; and sings the final scene of Richard Strauss’ Capriccio. This concert can be heard at 20:00 EEST / 1 pm EDT.
