Strauss Concert Tour

Next month, Diana Damrau will once again delight audiences with her rendition of some of Richard Strauss’ most beloved Lieder: “Das Rosenband”, “Ständchen”, “Freundliche Vision”, “Wiegenlied”, “Zueignung”, and “Allerseelen”. She’ll start her tour in Bremen’s Die Glocke on September 4, followed by the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on September 7, the Enescu Festival on September 12, the Philharmonie de Luxembourg on September 16 and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées on September 18.

She will be accompanied by the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen lead by Jérémie Rhorer for all performances except for the one in Luxembourg, where she’ll sing with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg and conductor Gustavo Gimeno on the podium.

The Bremen concert will be broadcast live on Arte.tv and will be available to watch as an archived video until December 3, and the concert at Festival Enescu will also be streamed live on their website and will be available for 12 hours after the event has ended.
