Lieder tour with Xavier de Maistre

At the end of August, Diana Damrau will be back on the road with her frequent collaborator, harpist Xavier de Maistre, with a new program of Lieder by Franz Schubert, Gioachino Rossini, Gabriel Fauré and Claude Debussy. They will perform at the Salzburger Festspiele and the Schubertiade, as well as the Theater Gütersloh and London’s Wigmore Hall.

From their most recent tour together, Broadway World raved: “Her outing on Wednesday at the Palau was an evening that even those who don’t find this kind of music their copa of cava could be swept away by.”
