News - The latest about Diana’s engagements and recordings

After this year’s critically acclaimed debut as the Marschallin in Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier (“Diana Damrau’s Marschallin achieved a heavenly perfection that hovered over everything else in this performance” – Bachtrack), Diana Damrau returns to the role this autumn, in a new production by Lydia Steier based on an extant set, and Joana Mallwitz at the musical helm. Günther Groissböck sings Ochs, with Angela Brower as Octavian, Emily Pogorelc as Sophie, and Bo Skovhus as Herr von Faninal. The performances take place from September 21 to October 26.
